Building on the foundation of experience, Chris Rochleau has undergone extensive training to become certified in several areas of new home construction and remodeling. Chris Rochleau of Cherry Ridge Construction has completed all course requirements to earn the Certified Graduate Builder (CGB) and Certified Green Professional (CGP) designations as issued by the National Association of Home Builders. He is only builder in Council Bluffs to hold both designations. The Certified Graduate Builder is an exclusive professional designation designed to emphasize business and project management skills as the keys to a professional building operation. Trained CGB professionals invest several hours of classroom study and continuing education to satisfy training requirements focused on effective management in the office and on the job. Training covers a range of subjects including codes and standards, skills in material selection and application techniques, scheduling and estimating, job cost procedures. The National Association of Home Builders’ Certified Green Professional designation recognizes builders and remodelers who incorporate green building principles into homes, without driving up the cost of construction. As a CGP, Rochleau has been trained in green building methods, principles of energy, water and resource efficiency, indoor air and environmental quality, lot and site development for green homes, and the latest green building techniques. |
